Student Poster Competition

The Ontario Climate Consortium is pleased to launch a student poster competition, which is open to undergraduate and graduate-level students in the natural and social sciences. We are inviting students to submit poster presentations with a focus on climate change adaptation and/or mitigation.

Benefits for student participants in the poster competition include:

  • Networking opportunities with industry leaders, potential employers, senior researchers and other students;
  • A complimentary ticket to the event on May 11 and 12;
  • The opportunity to showcase your research and its relevance to practitioners from a wide range of sectors; and,
  • Cash prizes for winning entries ($1000 for the top submission, $500 each for two runner ups).

Please note that the author(s) are responsible for printing and presenting their research posters at the symposium. All the materials (e.g. foam boards that are 30″ by 40″, easels) required to support your poster will be provided by the OCC. Final PDF copies of research poster should be sent to the organizers to be made available online on the OCC website.
